🕊Day 12

While they were approaching, the Lord returned the third time to his Apostles and finding them asleep and He said to them, sleep no more, it enough. The hour is come, behold the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise up, let us go. Behold he that will betray me is at hand. Mark 14:41

Let us imagine the feign kiss of peace by which Judas used to betrayed and distinguish Jesus as the one whom they should single out from the rest and immediately seize.
Imagine the Sorrows in Mary’s heart as at that moment, when she saw the band of soldiers and servants issuing from the house of the high priest, how they irreverence and insults and treated her Son.

She felt the pain when they took Jesus to prison and illtreat him. Mary felt in her own hands the pains caused by the rope and chains, as if she Herself was being bound and fettered; in the same manner She felt in her body the blows and the torments further inflicted upon the Lord. She suffered greatly in her lovely soul at the thought of not being with Jesus in his torments.

All these sufferings Mary endured for love of us.
Let us together pray and sing!

1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary, 1 Glory be

Wounded with His every wound,
Steep my soul till it has swooned,
In His very blood away. Amen

May Almighty God Bless you, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Have a blessed Lenten Season
